Why it's actually anonymous
Instagram's "seen by" list is built from logged-in account activity — a view only gets logged because some Instagram account opened the story while authenticated. This tool never authenticates as any account, so there's structurally nothing for Instagram to attribute a view to. - Active stories (last 24 hours) on any public profile
- Multiple stories from the same user, in order
- Stories from private accounts — not technically possible without an accepted follow request; see what actually works for private accounts
- Expired stories or ones the poster already deleted — not possible either
